Don't you know that the politicians that you obviously dislike or hate are also related to the Administrator/Owner of this website? The infrastructure suggenstions of our administrator have reached the intended parties' eyes and ears. What more do you want?... |
It's okay, 7th Mil. I don't mind if forumers vent their frustrations about our politicians through this website. I'd rather welcome them because a lot, if not most, of them are valid concerns about the current political state and socio-economic condition of our province.
As I have stated under this site's Forum Rules, I will be "apolitical" (among other aspirations) in order to achieve fairne...

Have you not learned few times about the famous saying, "ask not what your government can do for you ...", which you may not want to read or hear because again our reference is not a Filipino or someone from Southern Leyte?
Save your animosity or hatred to some Pinoy politicians for the next natural disaster which will happen, not shall, again in the near future which nobody in the entire R.P. can prevent from happening.

"if you want informations of real deal, talk to somebody that lives and breath there. who are you trying to fool mr. millenium."
What subject matter are you charging this moderator as fooling around? Is it about the water? Airport? Retirees? Tourists?
If you are new to this Forum, then read the previous threads on how other contributors presented their topics, comments, etc. The Administrator in the past had stated how one or you should write your comment or comments under the topic being discussed. If your subject does not belong to the topic such as airport, tourists, retirees, inter-island transportation, hospital under cons...

You are far behind in your assessment on Maasin City and the rest of Southern Leyte. Try making friends with the foreign investors, retirees, etc. who are now in Southern Leyte and get your facts from them before you open your "mouth". As mentioned before, we make contacts with the foreign scuba diving and resort operators, an American real estate developer in Padre Burgos, and few foreign retirees in Southern Leyte.
No airport? When we visited Maasin City airport in January 2009, there were two small aircrafts and their pilots who were learning how to land and fly at the domestic airport in Panan-awan, Maasin. They were student pilots of my 40-year friend and president and CE...

= no or limited inter island transportation.unless your hovercraft in in place and functioning now.im not aware of it.
= how about your plan sea planes .is is working now.
=WALAY water supply as reported...very essential.
to be continued:my boss is here.im at work.

If you read on the utilities which are desperately needed to all the residents and visitors in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu, fresh water and reliable electricity are some of the big city problems. Except in downtown Maasin, the rest of the barangays in the city have their own sources of fresh water. The geothermal-generated electricity coming from Tongonan near Ormoc City has been so reliable the past over 30 years. There are of course brownouts once in awhile when transformers and circuit breakers broke down due to short circuits in the residential or commercial buildings, strong winds or typhoons, lightning bolt hits, etc. along the transmission lines and sub-stations.
There is an excellent artic...

Thanks for the advisory, Bay blindside10. Point well taken.
I, for one, am ignorant of extradition treaties between the Philippines and other countries. However, the InterPol (http://www.interpol.int) is an organization that is proactive in pursuing those that have been declared international fugitives. The services of this organization could be essential in capturing them.
Meanwhile, I call upon the City of Maasin and provincial governments to immediately mobilize law enforcement actions on said fugitives alleged to have taken refuge anywhere within the boundaries of Maasin City as well as Southern Leyte. Considering that the fugitives are potentially dangerous, strategic en...

As I have addressed this in the past as one of the many infrastructure issues our city needs, everyone in the political arena seems to be so numb in getting the feel on how to get things done just to satisfy nagging concerns of our city. As far as the current needs for potable water is concerned, isn't it really a wonder why our elected officials haven't done anything about it? How much more can we tell our politicians that the scarcity of water, or the lack thereof, is one of the essential reasons of our failing socio-economics which we so desperately need to revitalize. I hate to instigate it, but isn't Maloney Samaco an engineer? Why can't he mobilize his Municipal (or City) Engineer to concep...

As one who used to work directly with the engineers and architects of the Bureau of Public Works in Maasin, I woul like to suggest that our city has to build water reservoirs, water tanks and filtration systems in the higher elevated grounds or hills next to the big rivers in Maasin, Macrohon and Matalom. The big river which flows down to Matalom and its sea comes from Maasin. The spring which flows and becomes a big river down to Amparo, Macrohon comes from Cagnituan, Maasin. Canturing river is from Maasin.
Perhaps those who are serving the military and the veterans could request at lower costs the surplus desalination plants or systems from the foreign military, and use them for our city's wate...

In the UK, The bad guys used to flee to Spain to avoid the long arm of the Law, but now that Spain has joined the EU these guys have no where to go...But lo and behold..they can come here to the Philipines now...just flash your passport and you get 21 days to disappear into the heartland of this beautiful country. How do I know about this? well, one of those self and same bad guys told me so...He lives 25 kilometers from Maasin in Burgos...his credentials are...he recieved 7 years for raping a lady in the UK and fled from the law before he could start his sentence to live here...This is common knowledge in Burgos so I'm not slandering anyone who lives there, but the sad thing is...the police also know about him and don't seem to be bothered...

| We need a Starbucks.....and maybe a Pizza Hut...Jolibee's is so crap and dilapidated now, it's embarrassing to go there for their food (?) Two cafe's only in Maasin and neither sell good coffee or Tea...no wonder all the people prefer Cebu or even Tacloban to buy their food and enjoy a decent restful drink of whatever they wish for.....Rant over |

| Art Bell is also a writer on the subject of US Government black opps etc. and also a writer about the subjects concerning UFO's. He will have never said any of these things about the Filipino people, moreover he would NOT say these things, of this I know. Also by electing Obama as President, the real rulers of America did not get rid of the Bush era, they just changed its face somewhat. It's just the same old, same old. |
